MNU slates ‘Fahi Furusath’ job festival for next month

Maldives National University (MNU) has decided to hold ‘Fahi Furusath’ job festival in November.

As per the University, the job festival will be held on November 15th and November 14th between 16:00pm and 18:00pm and 20:00pm and 22:00pm.

The festival is open for MNU graduates and the general public.

MNU said the festival will serve as a platform bringing together employers and job seekers in various sectors.

Other objectives of the festival include:

  • To strengthen community engagement by connecting the job market and recruiters 
  • To create a platform to promote various organizations and business brands
  • To provide a platform to showcase local talent and creativity in terms of job opportunities and related talents
  • To provide an opportunity for MNU final semester students and other students as well as the local public to network with employers who are offering jobs, internships, apprenticeships and other opportunities within the industry and maintain cultural heritage
  • To increase socialization and happiness in the community
  • To promote opportunities at MNU
  • To explore the opportunities available for jobseekers and skill-up individuals
  • To create a platform for the community to explore various opportunities within organizations
  • To improve the business with talent acquisitions

Companies and government offices that wish to partake in the festival can submit forms via the following link before 23:59pm on November 1st.

Notably, MNU held the job festival back in November with the participation of 40 employers including state-owned companies.
