EyeCare is hospital a #LoveYourEyes campaign this weekend to mark the World Sight Day.
The event will be held on Friday at the Artificial Beach in Male’.
World Sight Day is a global event meant to draw attention to blindness and vision impairment, and raise awareness about the importance of eye health.
This year, EyeCare is focusing on raising awareness among young people about the importance of eye care, under the theme #LoveYourEyes.
EyeCare has invited the public for informative sessions to learn all about eye care and why it’s vital for everyone in the family. Its expert ophthalmologists will be on hand for interactive Q&A sessions. Visitors can also take advantage of free eye screenings from EyeCare and health consultations offered by Diabetes Society of Maldives.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for the whole family to ensure your eyes and overall health are in top shape,” said EyeCare.
The center for senior citizens, Israhvehinge Naadhee, will have a dedicated stall at the event, where they will share the information about the organization's activities and facilitate on-site registration for those interested in joining their initiatives.
EyeCare has also planned a range of engaging activities just for children. From face painting to coloring stations and live entertainment, there’s something for every young artist and performer. Special gifts await all participating children, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day.
As a bonus, every participant will receive a discount voucher from EyeCare, making the experience of visitors even more rewarding.
EyeCare invited everyone to join them for a day filled with family fun, learning, and awareness.
