Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has sent a message of encouragement to Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli following the devastating floods and landslides in the nation.
President Muizzu, via a post on X, expressed he was deeply saddened by the news of the devastating floods and landslides in Nepal that have resulted in deaths and injuries.
He extended heartfelt sympathies to Prime Minister Oli and the bereaved families while wishing a swift recovery for the injured and the safe return of those missing.

“The Maldives stands in solidarity with Nepal, our neighbour and friend, during this challenging time,” he added.
The floods and landslides in Nepal have claimed over 66 lives so far with authorities reporting 69 missing persons.
