Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure and Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has met on Monday to discuss the ongoing works on the Rasmale’ project; the largest project of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s administration.
The discussion which focused on the implementation of the project was participated by Infrastructure Minister Dr. Abdulla Muthalib and HDC’s Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed.
In this regard, the Ministry detailed that the current status of the project was shared alongside how work on the project will be implemented in the future.
Additionally, both parties explored ways to expedite the project and the measures that can be taken to ensured quality is maintained throughout the entirely of the project.
Both parties also discussed the benefits the project will have on public and how it will impact the development of Male’ area.
Physical works on the current administration’s biggest housing project – Rasmale’ land reclamation – was launched on December 18th. A total of 1,153 hectares of land is to be reclaimed under the project, which the government initially targeted to complete in eight months.
