Allied Insurance Company on Sunday unveiled the ‘Allied Life Promotion’, under which the company will pay 50% on the first month’s premium.

At the press conference on Sunday, Ibrahim Firushan, the General Manager at Allied Insurance said that the promotion will remain applicable until the first 50 subscribers after which the promotion will end.

Firushan added that for premiums for the life or other insurance policies taken during the promotional period in monthly, in every three-months, or annual payment plans are available for the subscribers.

While highlighting the multiple applications of the life insurance policy, Firushan said the most important objective of this policy is ensuring the members of deceased “bread winner’s” family get paid out the claim amount which can be used to “meet immediate expenses.”

He further added that a saving plan is supplementary to the policy, and allowed, and said that the savings in a beneficiary bank account and a life insurance policy differ.

“For instance, suppose I pass away two years after taking an MVR 200,000 or MVR 300,000 policy. If the subscriber passes away two years into the ten-year plan, the money in their bank account would only include the money credited to the account in those two years and its profit. But in a life policy, if the subscriber passes away two years into a ten-year plan, their family will receive the claim amount of the MVR 300,000 from the policy,” Firushan explained.

Allied Insurance will hold an affiliated awareness and information dissemination event dubbed ‘Allied Fest’ at the Central Park, Hulhumale’ on September 13, 2024, said Aishath Suda, Marketing Manager at the company.
