Presidential couple returns after concluding Singapore unofficial trip

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed on Wednesday concluded their unofficial visit to Singapore.

The First Couple returned to the Maldives after concluding their visit on Wednesday evening.

President Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha flew to Singapore on an unofficial visit this Monday after attending an assembly of ruling People's National Congress (PNC).

At the PNC assembly, Muizzu announced he was taking the trip for a routine health checkup related to a surgery he underwent two years back. During the same assembly, President Muizzu also debunked recent social media rumors about his health.

The presidential couple had visited Singapore for an unofficial trip previously as well.
