Fire breaks out from electricity board in Male’ home

A fire broke out at a home in Male’ City on Friday night.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said its Fire and Rescue Service received a report of a fire at M. Kandharu at approximately 21:59pm.

The fire, as per the authority, originated from an electricity board.

MNDF confirmed that the fire has been controlled. They did not disclose the details of the damage caused by the fire.

Notably, a raging fire broke out at a godown in K. Thilafushi on Thursday causing significant damage.
