Café at Hulhumale’ damaged in fire

A fire broke out at a café in Hulhumale’ in the early hours of Friday.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said the fire at ‘Brunch House’ café in Hulhumale’ Phase I was reported at 00:58am early Friday morning.

MNDF added that firefighters from the Hulhumale’ Fire Station responded to the incident and successfully put out the fire by 1:19am.

Photos of the incident shared by MNDF show damage to the café’s kitchen in the fire.

MNDF did not disclose the details of the damage caused by the fire. However, they confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.
