EyeCare holds vision screening camp at Hiyaa

EyeCare Opticals held a free vision screening camp in Hulhumale’ Phase II on Friday, in partnership with the community admin of H1 and H2 of the Hiyaa housing towers.

The camp was held on the ground floor of H1 from 04:00 pm to 08:00 pm on Friday.

Visitors consulted with ophthalmologists to check their vision, their retina, and also got screened for eye diseases such as cataract and glaucoma.

Many people who registered to attend the camp were deterred by the heavy rain over the capital on Friday evening.

However, EyeCare reports that they received a greater number of visitors than they expected.

The camp was part of community-based initiatives planned by EyeCare to promote its hospital in Hulhumale’.
