State media, Public Service Media (PSM), has acquired rights to live broadcast all matches of Euro 2024, set to kick-off in Germany on June 14th.

Sun has learned that PSM is presently undertaking arrangements to live broadcast all matches, while only state media’s channels will be live broadcasting Euro matches under the localization format. In this regard, PSM channels TVM and Yes TV will be live broadcasting the matches in HD quality for viewers, without any additional fees.

The state media has borne significant expenses in the past to live broadcast major football competitions to viewers. In this regard, a huge sum needs to be paid to the party which has purchased the rights for the respective competition within this region.

PSM’s sports team is currently gearing up to hold various activities to increase the hype for the competition among local viewers including a continuity show.

24 European nations, divided among six groups, will compete in the competition which will be held across 10 cities in Germany. The nations will go head-to-head in a total of 54 matches which are slated for 18:00pm, 9:00pm and 12:00am local time.

The final match will be held in Berlin on July 14th.

Euro is the second most anticipated football competition, only next to the World Cup. Big names in the football industry will make appearances in the competition such as Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, France’s Kylian Mbappe, England’s Jude Bellingham, Spain’s Lamine Yamal, Germany’s Jamal Musiala, Netherlands’s Virgil van Dijk and Denmark’s Rasmus Højlund.
