790 applications from atolls to transfer to schools in Male’

Education Ministry states they have received 790 applications from atolls, requesting transfer to schools in Male’ City for the upcoming new academic year.

The Ministry, on Sunday, shared the latest details regarding the applications they have received from atolls, requesting transfer to schools in Male’ City for the upcoming new academic year via a post on X.

As per the post, the highest number of applications have been submitted to enroll students to grade one in Male’ area schools. In this regard, a total of 2,290 applications have been submitted to enroll students to grade one in Male’ area schools. Meanwhile, 1,450 applications were submitted to enroll students in grades other than first grade in Male’ area schools.

660 applications were submitted to switch between schools in Male’ area.

790 applications were submitted to transfer to schools in Male’, from atolls.

The deadline to submit applications to enroll students in schools and to change schools will expire at 2:00pm on Tuesday. Education Ministry states they will be responding to the forms submitted by the deadline on May 13^th.
