One sustains significant injuries in collision between two motorbikes

A person sustained significant injuries in a dangerous collision between two motorbikes at Boduthakurufaanu Magu in Male’ City on Sunday evening.

The Police told Sun that the accident, which took place near Villa College, was reported to the authority at approximately 17:53pm this evening.

The person injured in the accident is being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), said the Police. Citing the hospital, the Police said the person sustained significant injuries.

Road accidents remain prominent in the Male’ area. Some have resulted in fatalities or serious injuries to victims.

A teenager injured in an accident involving a collision between two motorbikes in Hulhumale’ on April 5^th died last night while being treated at ADK Hospital.
