Zeenad appointed as HDFC’s managing director

Ahmed Zeenad has been appointed as the new managing director of Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC).

HDFC announced the appointment on Wednesday.

Zeenad had previously served as the managing director of SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) – a financial institution established during the former administration to support small and medium enterprises.

Prior to that, he served as head of government loan scheme at the Bank of Maldives (BML), and in top posts at the Maldives Finance Leasing Company (MFLC).

He attained his Masters in Finance from the Curtin University in Australia.
