Addu Equatorial Hospital appoints new CEO

Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) has appointed Dr. Yasir as its new Chief Executive Officer.

The hospital congratulated Dr. Yasir for his new appointment, and added the institute will continue to make new strides under his leadership.

Dr. Yasir, an internal medicine physician, has previously served at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) prior to his new appointment.

The Addu Equatorial Hospital went into development during former President Abdulla Yameen's administration, and was officially inaugurated in 2020 during former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's government. With this, the city transferred all of the services previously provided from Hithadhoo Regional Hospital to AEH.
