BML will remain open throughout Ramadan

Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced that the bank will remain open throughout Ramadan.

The President’s Office has announced that government offices will be closed during the last 10 days on Ramadan. However, the national bank, in a statement on Thursday, announced that the bank will remain open during the period.

BML’s branches and service centers will be open during the last 10 days of Ramadan from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The bank will be open from 09:30 am to 12:00 pm during the rest of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal 1445.

BML added that self-service banking centers across the country will continue to provide deposit, withdrawal and transfer services 24/7. Cash Agents on inhabited islands will also be available to provide basic banking services to customers during Ramadan. Customers can also reach the bank by calling its contact center, or by chatting with Aaya and live chat agents on Facebook Messenger, BML Mobile App, WhatsApp, Viber, and the bank’s website.

The bank encouraged customers to use its Internet Banking and Mobile App for everyday banking.
