Aviation Security Command’s chief inspector dies

Aviation Security Command’s Chief Inspector Ahmed Rasheed, who passed away on Tuesday.

Aviation Security Command’s Chief Inspector Ahmed Rasheed has passed away on Tuesday.

At the time of his passing, Rasheed was 61.

He was working at Regulator of Aviation Security Maldives (DASA).

Rasheed’s funeral prayer was held after Asr prayer at Hulhumale’ Masjid Zaid bin Saabit.

As per the Defense Ministry, Rasheed has worked over 42 years in the aviation industry during which he has undertaken crucial work to strengthen the aviation industry team.

The Ministry described Rasheed as a kind-hearted individual who always maintained a close relationship with everyone. They also said Rasheed had set an example in terms of hard work and providing assistance to other people.
