Yameen appointed PSM’s DMD

Former media personnel Abdulla Yameen has been appointed the deputy managing director of state media, Public Service Media (PSM).

PSM congratulated Yameen following his appointment.  

Yameen held N. Velidhoo seat in the previous 18^th parliament. He had entered politics after years in journalism.

In this regard, he had worked in Raajje TV. Later on, he played a key role in heading Dhivehi Channel.

Changes have been made to the senior management of the state media after the new administration took office. The current managing director of PSM is a former member of the Broadcasting Commission, Zeena Zahir.
