Applications open for 37th National Oratory Competition

Dhivehi Bahuge Academy (DBA) has opened applications for the 37th National Oratory Competition.

The competition will have two segments; oration and debate.

The oratory segment has two categories; school and private.

School category:

• Lower secondary (Key Stage 3)
• Secondary (Key Stage 4)
• Higher secondary (Key Stage 5)

Private category:

• Below age 18
• Above age 18

The debate segment is open to individuals above 16 years. Teams from offices, companies, clubs, NGOs, universities, colleges, institutes, academies and private parties can complete in this segment.

DBA said the competition will be held on February 10. The topics for the competition will be uploaded to DBA’s website at least a week before the competition begins.

DBA has interested contestants to submit applications by 01:00 pm on February 1.
