Man injured in collision between cargo vehicle and flight

A cargo vehicle and a Maldivian flight collided in a dangerous accident at Fuvahmulah Airport on Sunday evening.

Police said the accident was reported to the authority at approximately 5:34pm this evening.

A 24-year-old Maldivian man was injured in the accident. He is currently being treated at Fuvahmulah Hospital.

Photos of the accident have gone viral on social media.

Police said they are investigating the accident further.
