Housing Ministry has released the permanent list of recipients of flats under the ‘Gedhoruveriya’ scheme – a housing scheme for residents of the greater Male’ area.
The list was published on the Government Gazette on Saturday afternoon.
Housing Ministry states that the recipients of the 4,000 units currently under construction by the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) on list of recipients for three-bedroom flats had all received upwards of 76 marks.
Meanwhile, the recipients of the 4,000 units on the list of two-bedroom flats had all received upwards of 73 marks.
A draw will be held among recipients of the 4,000 units to select specific flats.
Housing Ministry states that the time and place for the draw will be informed through the Gedhoruverin Portal.
Those on the permanent list who were not eligible for the 4,000 units currently under construction will receive letters affirming their right to flats under additional state housing projects via the portal, said the ministry.
Married couples who submitted individual applications will receive one flat.
