All injured in Dhidhdhoo speedboat wrecking discharged from hospital

All the people who were injured after a speed that was carrying 10 people from HA. Vashafaru to HA. Dhidhdhoo wrecked on Dhidhdhoo's channel last Friday has been released from the hospital after receiving treatment.

Speaking to Sun today, the president of Dhidhdhoo Council, Abdulla Rasheed, said that everyone injured in the incident has now been discharge after receiving treatment.

He further noted that the council has not yet found the specific cause for the incident, it was most likely that the launch overturned while trying to enter Dhidhdhoo’s lagoon.

“Everyone has been released now, it’s assumed that the launch wrecked while trying to enter,” he said.

This incident happened around 9:00 pm last Friday night. The 10 people traveling on this launch sustained various injuries.

The police are investigating this incident.
