Dhiraagu honors staff who has served the company for 35 years

Dhiraagu has honored long-serving staff who has been with the company for 35 years.

The staff were honored during a special staff event held to mark Dhiraagu’s 35th anniversary at Villa Nautica Paradise Island.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Executive of the Communications Authority of Maldives (CAM) Ilyas Ahmed, Chairperson of Dhiraagu’s Board of Directors Ismail Waheed and Dhiraagu’s CEO, Managing Director Ismail Rasheed as well as members of the company’s Board of Directors and leadership team.

22 staff who had been with the company since it was incepted in 1988 were recognized and awarded with a special plaque.

The event also saw the digital launching of the 35th anniversary photo book of the company, ‘Leading the Digital Transformation Journey of the Maldives’. The photobook was launched Dhiraagu’s Chairperson Ismail Waheed and CEO, MD Ismail Rasheed.

The book, which is now viewable on Dhiraagu's website, chronicles the key milestones of Dhiraagu over the past three decades, building the national digital infrastructure of the Maldives.

During the event, a special lucky draw was taken among staff with valuable prizes. It also featured colorful entertainment activities as well.

 Dhiraagu reaffirmed its commitment to empower and celebrate their staff and support their hard work and commitment to enable the company’s customers to ‘take on tomorrow’ in the digital future.
