CSM and BML to hold cancer awareness walk on Saturday

Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM) and Bank of Maldives (BML) have decided to host a walk called ‘Pink-Ribbon Run Walk’ in order to raise awareness about cancer.

In a press release by CSM, this walk is to be held this Saturday at 4 pm. This walk will be held in many islands across Maldives as well as Hulhumale’.

Bibs will be used during the walk. The bibs will be available at Sports Lifestyle (Majeedhee Magu) and Hameediya (Bodu Thakurufaanu Magu) as well as Sonee Sports Outlet Store (Hulhumale) and Sports Lifestyle (Majeedhee Magu).

BML has been assisting in cancer awareness events such as the ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ since 2016.

An oncology ward has been made at IGMH this past August with BML’s help.
