A resort has opened at Ifuru, in Raa Atoll, under name the Ifuru Island Maldives resort; an island where an airport has been developed.
The resort was inaugurated during a special ceremony on Saturday, September 23rd.
Ifuru Island Maldives resort was developed by Ifuru Investment, a shareholder of Coastline company.
The 300-bed capacity resort features 150 villas – six twin villas, 100 duplex villas, 35 beach villas and nine beach villas with pools – and six restaurants.
Ifuru airport was brought into operation during former president Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom’s administration in 2015.
