Maldives Development Alliance (MDA)’s leader Ahmed Siyam Mohamed says that it is impossible for other candidates to produce a manifesto like that of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s.
In a campaign rally in L. Fonadhoo on Tuesday, Siyam said that rival candidates lack both the skills and talent to produce a manifesto like the one produced by the president.
He said that President Solih’s manifesto has not overlooked a single Maldivian island, and clearly states the benefit to people of both sexes and all ages, and the developments that will come to the country.
He praised President Solih’s economic vision.
“I am sure that the Maldivian economy will more than double. He is saying too modest a figure; that he will double it. It will be far bigger,” he said.
Siyam said that though the Maldives has few resources, President Solih, in all his wisdom, is educating and training the people, in order to boost the economy.
Siyam said that he has accompanied the president on campaign visits to over 100 islands, and that the people of all islands were keen to re-elect President Solih in a single round of voting.
