MACL staff receive MVR 25,000 as bonus

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has decided to distribute MVR 25,000 to their employees as annual bonus.

The company informed their staff of the board’s decision via a circular on Thursday.

According to the circular, all employees who have worked for the entire year last year will receive an annual bonus of MVR 25,000 each.

Meanwhile, employees who joined the company last year and served at least six months will receive an amount calculated on pro-rata basis.

However, employees who were dismissed last year under the company’s disciplinary policy are not eligible for the bonus.

The bonus will be deposited to the bank accounts of employees latest by Sunday.

MACL, which manages the national airport – Velana International Airport – had distributed MVR 25,000 as annual bonus last year as well.
