Juvenile Court judge transferred to Civil Court

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has made the decision to transfer Judge Mohammed Esafulhu from Juvenile Court to the Civil Court.

JSC said this transfer adheres to the established rules of procedure governing the movement of judges within the same level of court.

JSC added that effective from today onwards, Judge Mohammed will assume his new responsibilities as a Civil Court Judge.

Notably, he was among the pioneering judges appointed to the Drug Court and has previously served as a Criminal Court judge.

In addition, Judge Mohammed has contributed his expertise as a member of the Judicial Service Commission.
