Missing mother, daughter found safe

A young woman and her two-year-old daughter, who were reported missing from Hulhumale’ earlier this week, have been found safe.

Aishath Ihsana, 32, Nasreenuge, HA. Ihavandhoo, and her daughter were reported missing to the police on Monday, May 29.

The police released a picture of Ihsana, seeking the public’s help in finding her and her daughter, on Wednesday.

Her family reported Ihsana was last seen at her residence, an apartment in the Hiyaa flats, on Monday morning.

The police said later that the family was able to contact Ihsana on Wednesday afternoon.

She told her family that both she and her daughter were safe.
