Nazim to be presented with presidential ticket on May 26

Maldives National Party (MNP) is set to present its 2023 presidential ticket to the party’s leader, Dhangethi MP Colonel (Retired) Mohamed Nazim on May 26.

In a rally Wednesday, Nazim said he will also launch his presidential campaign on May 26. However, he did not say where the function will be held.

The election must be used to change the entire nation, he said.

Nazim had secured his party’s ticket for the election slated for September 9 after running unopposed.
