Dhiraagu signs as platinum sponsor for ABU Media Summit 2023

Dhiraagu has signed on as the platinum sponsor for the ABU Media Summit 2023.

The ABU Media Summit 2023 is hosted by Public Service Media (PSM) and the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), the largest broadcasting union in the world with over 253 members in 67 countries.

It is being held from May 9-10 at Crossroads Maldives.

This year’s theme for the summit is ‘From Atolls to Alps and Arid Lands: Communicating the Climate Change Challenge’.

The summit will focus on the role of media in addressing climate action and disaster prevention. It will also highlight the most recent climate science findings and the challenges faced by broadcasters in conveying this information and different issues surrounding it to the public.

Dhiraagu said it remains committed to supporting program and events that focus on caring for the environment, which is a key focus of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
