Criminal Court Judge Hassan Saeed has retired after 21 years of service.
Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has issued a statement congratulating him on his retirement Sunday.
Hassan Saeed, who previously served as the Chief Judge of Family Court had faced a series of misconduct allegations in recent years over some decisions he made during his time at the court.
He had been suspended for two years in connection to a misconduct allegation, and the JSC had even voted to dismiss him in 2019.
However, JSC later reversed its decision and transferred him to Criminal Court, where he had been serving until his retirement.
