SSNET adds PSM’s ‘TVM Quran’ to channel list

Customers of the cable TV service, SSNET, will now be able to view the new channel recently launched by PSM, ‘TVM Quran’.

‘TVM Quran’ will be available for viewing on SSNET’s channel number 25.

The new channel was launched in conjunction with TVM’s 45^th anniversary on March 29^th. The channel, on broadcast for 24 hours, will bring Quran and its translation in Dhivehi language for viewers.

It marks the first time a 24-hour Quran channel with Dhivehi translation has been launched in the Maldives.

Commenting on the launch of the channel, PSM’s Managing Director Ali Khalid told Sun that the existence of the Quran channel was integral for a fully Islamic nation, such as the Maldives.

Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali, after launching the channel, said it would benefit many.

‘TVM Quran’ is only available for viewing on PSM Connect and SSNET.
