Book of condolences opened in memory of late MP Riza

A book of condolences has been opened in the memory of late Guraidhoo MP Ibrahim Riza.

The book will be placed at the People’s Majlis building for the next three days for parliamentarians and the public to write their messages.

Many, including Parliament Speaker Mohamed Nasheed, have written in the book of condolences on Monday.

Riza passed away while undergoing treatment for cancer in Malaysia on February 22^nd.

Riza has served as a parliamentarian for 14 years. During his three electoral terms – he represented Guraidhoo constituency. At the time of his passing, he had one year left in his current term.
