RCC to develop 100 housing units in Kolhufushi

Rasheed Carpentry and Construction Private Limited (RCC) has been contracted to develop 100 housing units in M. Kolhufushi by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and infrastructure.

The agreement pertaining to the project was signed during a special ceremony on Tuesday by the Ministry’s Housing Department’s Director General Ahmed Vishan Naseem and RCC’s Projects Director Adam Raheem.

The project is included in the government’s budget for PSIP projects and will include;

• Three rooms
• Three bathrooms
• Sitting room
• Kitchen
• Dining room
• Laundry and storeroom

The project valued at over MVR 117 million was contracted to be completed within 365 days.

Kolhufushi, which has a population of over one thousand, measures in 76 hectares.
