Discussions held on difficulties faced by Umrah goers

Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali has held discussions with Umrah groups regarding difficulties faced by Umrah goers from Maldives.

During this meeting, the Minister, highlighting difficulties and obstructions faced by Umrah goers from Maldives brought to the attention of the Ministry, requested the groups to work in a manner such things do not repeatedly happen.

On this note, the Minister urged Umrah groups to pay more attention to caring for the elderly, in the provision of food and medical support in addition to adhering to the agreement signed by the groups.

During the meeting, Umrah groups also briefed the Minister on the difficulties they face.

Islamic Ministry assured that they are working on facing difficulties faced by both Umrah groups and Umrah goers. The Minister gave assurance of the Ministry’s continuance efforts in this trajectory.
