Maldives National University (MNU) is scheduled to hold this year’s edition of its international research conference, Theveli, in August.
MNU states that the sixth edition of Theveli will be held from August 21-23. This year’s conference centers around the theme “research-based policymaking”.
The Theveli conference is one of the biggest conferences held in Maldives, with presentations of academic research from scholars of various disciplines.
According to MNU, the biggest purpose of holding the conference is to make Maldives’ higher education system research-based, and make MNU a university that generates and promotes knowledge.
Organized by MNU’s Research Development Office, the conference will see the attendance of professors in international universities and researchers, presentations of findings and research.
Research papers will be presented in Dhivehi, English and Arabic.
