Tree Top Hospital in collaboration with Education Ministry has conducted a special health screening event for Huravee School students.
The event which kicked off on last Tuesday concluded today. A total of 445 students from grades one to four took part in the event.
Tree Top Hospital’s Consultant Pediatrician Dr. Rukshana Ahmed also conducted an information session for Huravaa School teachers and parents ahead of the health screening event. During this session, Dr. Rukshana lectured regarding the type of nutrients children require and their mental health.
The purpose of the health screening event, as reported by Tree Top Hospital, is to provide students with a basic health screening assessment which would aid in identifying circumstances a specialist consultation needs to be sought when sick.
The hospital retreated its commitment to keep promoting health and wellness alongside the importance of seeking regular treatments and health assessments in hopes of building a healthier society.
