Car flips in accident on Sinamale’ Bridge

An accident took place on near the junction of Sinamale’ Bridge and Hulhumale’ Highway on Wednesday, in which a private car flipped over.

A police spokesperson said an accident involving a car on the bridge was reported to police at approximately 02:47 pm.

According to the police, there were two people in the car when the accident took place – both of them identified as Maldivian males.

Neither of them sustained injuries in the accident.

However, accident resulted in massive damages to the vehicle.

The cause of the accident is unclear at this point.
