Four arrested with half kg suspected hashish oil

As part of their ongoing operations to prevent crime in Male’, the Police have arrested four people with about half a kilogram of suspected hashish oil.

Police said that the items were found in an apartment in Male’ during a special ‘drug’ operation based on information received by Police Intelligence, and that the suspected drugs weigh 492g.

Police said that investigations are ongoing, and details will be shared with the media as soon as more information is obtained.

Police Commissioner Abdulla Riyaz has also said in a tweet, that four persons were arrested last night “with 492g (weight includes packing) of suspected Hashish oil”. It has not been possible to get more details.
