Chief Finance Executive at Finance Ministry, Abdulla Ali, has retired after 42 years of service to the Ministry.

At the time of his resignation – he was the most senior official in Finance Ministry overseeing the Ministry’s budget, special budget and pension budget.

Commenting on Abdulla Ali’s resignation – Finance Minister Ibrahim Ameer via a tweet said that Ibrahim Ali retired after teaching valuable lessons to all employees of the Ministry.

“Abdulla Ali undertook all tasks with respect to formulating the Finance Act, overseeing the state’s finances budget with utmost loyalty and honesty,” he added.

Finance Ministry said that Abdulla Ali has made many contributions to the Ministry in exercising his duties as the Chief Financer. They also noted that Abdulla Ali’s services to the Ministry were well received by all its employees
