A team of technicians from Turkey is assessing the broken ACs at King Salman Mosque, in order to identify the aspects which need fixing.

Speaking to Sun regarding the matter, Islamic Ministry’s media official Ismail Afrah said that the agreement to carry out the repair works of the ACs will be signed with Turkish experts today.

“Efforts are underway to order the items which will be needed for the repairs. Repair works will commence once the ordered items arrive,” he added.

It has been over two weeks since the ACs at the mosque have been broken – as a result of which worshippers visiting the mosque for prayers have been facing difficulties.

Three AC units from the four installed on the first two floors of the mosque where congregational prayers take place are broken.

Carrying out the repair work locally had not been possible.
