Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is seeking parliamentary approval to terminate GA. Dhaandhoo Chief Magistrate Luayyu Ibrahim, after they found him guilty of misconduct with respect to two cases.
In a statement on Monday, JSC said that two out of the 22 disciplinary cases filed against Luayyu that were proven were the alleged sexual harassment of a staff working in Dhaandhoo Court and participating in a personal business during both working hours and non-working hours.
It was also proven that Lauayyu attempted to influence the witnesses involved in these cases.
Therewith, JSC has filed a motion with Parliament, seeking their approval to terminate Luayyu from his post.
