HDC resumes leasing Farukolhufushi for events

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) on Tuesday announced the re-opening of Farukolhufushi for events.

According to the corporation, Farukolhufushi was re-opened for events due to popular demand for the location.

HDC has opened booking for parties, weddings, or any other similar events, and has requested interested parties to send an email.

Farukolhufushi was operated as a resort until it was connected to Hulhumale' Phase II in 2016.

It was leased for events until the Covid-19 pandemic hit. At the time it was operated as an isolation facility as the situation in the country declined with numerous cases.
