Sri Lankan singer who rose to fame with ‘Manike Mage Hithe’, Yohani Diloka de Silva, is coming to the Maldives!
Yohani is scheduled to perform in ‘Chanaachaa 2022’ – a music show organized by the popular local streaming application, Baiskoafu. The show will be held on Friday, October 28, at Huhumale’ Synthetic Track; from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and 8:00pm to 10:00pm.
Entrance for the evening session is free whilst entrance for the night sessions costs MVR 150. Tickets are currently up for sale by Baiskoafu – and can be purchased online.
Artist line-up for the show boasts 29-year-old Yohani and renowned local bands and musicians including Equatic Vibe, Traffic Jam. Achecia, Symbolic Records, Detune Band, Fasy Live, and Humble Bakari amongst others.
Yohani kicked off her music career as a Youtuber, and rose to fame with ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ cover song in 2021. The song has over 227 million views on Youtube alone.

The song was a major hit in India – and its Bollywood remake was released recently as part of the soundtrack of the upcoming movie ‘Thank God’ by Ajay Devgn which has over 80 million hits to date.
‘Chanaachaa’ is an annual music show organized by Baiskoafu – to provide a platform for local artists to showcase their music. Baiskoafu said that this year’s show will mark the biggest music festival in the Maldives.
