Missing man last seen boarding taxi outside H13, search continues

The young man reported missing from Hulhumale’ Phase II was last seen boarding a taxi at dawn on September 18, according to the police.

Mohamed Azuhan, 27, H. Bondikandholhuge, K. Male’, was reported missing to the police on Monday, September 19.

Police said in a statement Sunday that they continue to search for Azuhan, one week since he went missing.

Police said Azuhan was last seen outside H13 in the Hiyaa flats at dawn on September 18.

Analysis of CCTV footage of the area shows him boarding a white taxi, said the police.

Police said they were analyzing additional CCTV footage and trying to identify the taxi.

Police said last week Azuhan was last seen wearing a short-sleeved peach floral shirt.

Police have asked for anyone with information regarding Azuhan’s whereabouts, or anyone who might have seen the white tax near the Hiyaa flats, and taxis that operated in the area at dawn on September 18 to call the Hulhumale’ Phase II Investigation Department at 9393351, or the police hotline at 3322111.

Police took the opportunity to thank the public for their assistance in such matters.
