Police: No arrests but probe ongoing over man stabbed in domestic dispute

Maldives Police Services on Wednesday stated that the investigation into the case where a man was stabbed in the neck amidst a domestic dispute was ongoing despite no arrests.

The man was stabbed on Monday by a woman.

ADK Hospital had confirmed treating the man in the Emergency Room before he was discharged at the family’s request.

Sun has been informed the man was attacked following a verbal dispute at home. However, the relationship between the man and the woman was not immediately clear.

When questioned, a Police spokesperson on Tuesday stated that no arrests had been made in connection to the case. 

Unlike most similar stabbing cases, Police have not released any details about this incident.
