Two people injured in a collision between a dump truck and car in Farukolhu area of Hulhumale Phase II on Tuesday are being treated at the Tree Top Hospital.
The accident took place at approximately 06:00 pm on Tuesday, and resulted in three people in the car.
All three were initially treated at the Hulhumale’ Hospital.
The family member of the car driver told Sun one of the people sustained minor injuries and was discharged after treatment, while the other two, who sustained serious injuries, were transferred to Tree Top Hospital for further treatment.
“The two people in Tree Top sustained multiple injuries. They were transferred there last night,” said the family member.
One of them has a broken arm, while the other has a fractured facial bone.
Both are in stable condition.
The car was damaged beyond use in the crash.
