Maharashtra Governor hosts lunch in President Solih’s honor

The Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhaghat Singh Koshyari, on Wednesday afternoon, hosted a special lunch in honour of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and his delegation.

Hosted in Raj Bhavan, the lunch was held soon after the delegation arrived in Mumbai in order to welcome them to the city.

Speaking at the event, the President and the Governor of Maharashtra spoke about an array of topics of mutual interest and discussed prospects for collaboration.

President Solih has arrived in Mumbai after visiting New Delhi and holding official high-level engagements with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India.

Moreover, he attended the Delhi edition of the India-Maldives Business Forum as well.

The President is currently on a four-day official visit to India at the invitation of PM Modi. A high-level Maldivian delegation and Maldivian Business Leaders are accompanying the President on this visit.
