President Solih to visit India on official trip

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is scheduled to visit India on an official trip.

Sun understands that the President will travel within the first week of August.

Moreover, he is set to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior officials and will discuss business and enhancing travel between Maldives and India.

He is scheduled to visit both New Delhi and Mumbai during this visit.

 President Solih had undertaken an official visit to India in 2018.

Notably, during his tenure, the relations between India and Maldives have improved significantly.
