President and First Lady meet with Maldivian hajj pilgrims in Mina

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have met with Maldivians who travelled to Saudi Arabia to perform this year’s hajj pilgrimage.

The meeting took place in the tents in Mina, Saudi Arabia, on Monday.

During the meeting, the President and First Lady inquired about the wellbeing of the pilgrims.

A total of 453 Maldivian pilgrims travelled to Mecca to perform this year’s hajj pilgrimage.

The President and First Lady travelled to Saudi Arabia to perform this year’s hajj pilgrimage on July 4, a day after Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir, who was appointed as the Amir al-Hajj of the Maldives’ hajj pilgrims.
